About Leilanni: {Lay - Lah - Nee}
Leilanni was born and raised outside of Toronto to an artistic mom and Elvis impersonating dad (yes it’s true!). She attended the Ontario College of Art & Design, and furthered her studies in Florence, Italy. It was here where her true appreciation and love of fashion began.
After a short stint as an art director in advertising, Leilanni knew her heart belonged in fashion. Over the past several years, Leilanni worked for ready-to-wear women’s designers, designed luxury wedding gowns, sold vintage clothing, and designed costumes for artists and musicians.
Only up until recently has she ventured out on her own, with her on-line store, Leilanni Land. In this short time she has been recognized by publications such as FASHION magazine, NYLON, Eye Magazine and on the Urban Outfitters’ blog.
